Our Story
At a young age, Colm Hanly developed an interest in cars from following different kinds of motor sport. After finishing secondary school, he trained as an apprentice car mechanic and qualified in 2009. He then set up a garage by himself in 2010. After growing his customer base over a number of years and taking on several employees, he found he was running out of space in the first premises. After a long time searching, he purchased Cashel Retail Park which is conveniently located only 2 minutes from Junction 9 on the M8 Motorway on the Cahir Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary. His team proceeded to fit out Unit 2 of the buildings for CHM Service and Tyre Centre in 2014/2015.
What We Do at CHM
CHM were awarded the Mitsubishi franchise for Tipperary in July 2018. In a very short time, we became one of the country’s top sellers of Mitsubishi vehicles while holding a large stock of new Mitsubishi cars and 4x4s.
After Mitsubishi announced they would no longer sell vehicles in Europe in 2021, we proceeded with Mitsubishi aftersales for all vehicles new and old. Remember, Mitsubishi had the leading 8 year warranty on all passenger vehicles and 5 years on commerial vehicles. So we are here for all your service and warranty needs.
We mainly service all makes and models of cars, vans, 4x4s and camper vehicles new and old.
Our Tyre Centre has over 1500 new tyres in stock. We have all types of brands from budget makes to mid range and premium brands. Our highly trained team uses top of the range equipment for fitting, tracking, wheel balancing, 4-wheel alignment and puncture repairs.
Our dedicated aftersales team are always on standby to look after you for Service, Parts & Tyres, or even Crash Repairs. When dealing with us, you can be assured that we’ll always do our best for you and have your interests at heart.
